Eternal Life Is Found in Jesus Christ

Eternal life is not only a future promise. According to 1 John 5:11–13, God has already given this life to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. Whoever has the Son has life. This divine life is received at the New Birth. It is more than endless existence; it is God’s nature at work in the believer. Through this life, Christians can live with faith, courage, and confidence in Christ. Prayer: Father, thank You for giving me eternal life through Jesus Christ. Help me to live daily in the consciousness of Your life, grace, and power at work in me. Amen.
