Funnybone: Couples Often Bring Their Family Values Into Marriage

Comedian Funnybone says many conflicts in marriage come from the values and behaviour partners learned while growing up. He explained that someone raised in a home where the father made the final decisions may expect the same authority in marriage. Likewise, a person raised by a more dominant mother may strongly expect their own voice to be heard. According to him, this does not automatically make either partner a bad person. He advised couples to find common ground, allow each other to speak, and seek guidance from trusted people who can hold them accountable.
