Anambra Commissioner Urges NAPSS Students to Balance Academics with Activism, Embrace Soludo’s Education and Tech Drive
The Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Value Reorientation urged political science students to prioritise their studies while engaging in union activities. He highlighted the Soludo administration’s efforts in boosting WAEC/NECO performance from about 60% in 2010 to over 80%, and stressed that free education gives all children equal opportunity. Dr Mefor condemned cultism and school violence, emphasising that politics should resolve social problems through negotiation rather than force. He encouraged students to cultivate the right mindset, develop digital and alternative skills under the 1Youth 2Skills programme, and partner with the ministry on the upcoming NAPSS conference.
