Facing Witchcraft Persecution as a Christian in Ogun State
Christian persecution in Nigeria takes many forms. While physical attacks in the North get attention, spiritual and witchcraft persecution in the South often goes unspoken because proof is hard to collect. After moving to Mowe in Ogun State, my neighbors warned me to stop praying. They used incantations, tampered with lights, and spread fear day and night. I felt unsafe in my own home. When I later moved into what was said to be a Christian compound, I discovered hidden switches meant to electrify my bathroom and living room with deadly currents. These devices were clear attempts to harm me. I share this to warn others. People practicing sorcery are among us, and their tactics can be deadly. Trust your faith and stay vigilant.
