Jamie Gittens: Chelsea Aim to Win Every Trophy Under Xabi Alonso

Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens says the club are determined to compete for every trophy in the 2026–27 season under new manager Xabi Alonso. Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League last season and missed out on European football after a difficult campaign that saw Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior leave the club. Alonso, who led Bayer Leverkusen to an unbeaten domestic double in 2023–24, was appointed in June. Despite Chelsea not being among the early title favourites, Gittens believes the squad have the quality to challenge. He said the arrivals of Morgan Rogers, Marco Palestra and Geovany Quenda could raise the team’s level as they target the Premier League, FA Cup and other available titles.
