Growing in Grace: A Biblical Study on Sanctification
“Sanctify them through Your truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:17) When we embrace Scripture, its power refines our tastes, purifies our souls, and shapes us into living reflections of Christ. True sanctification isn’t merely outward—it begins in the heart as we receive God’s truth and put it into practice. This transformation is a lifelong journey. Like Jesus, who “increased in wisdom and stature” (Luke 2:52), we must press on daily, resisting the enemy and perfecting holiness through the Spirit. May we continually grow in knowledge and love of God until His image shines fully in us. Let us pray: Father, grant us grace to advance in holiness, escape worldly corruption, and bear Your divine nature. Strengthen us in health and spirit so we may testify of Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Adapted from a reflection in Maranatha.
