Huntelaar Praises Tolu Arokodare After Six-Goal Eredivisie Start
Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare has received praise from former Netherlands and Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar after a bright start at his new club. The Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee has scored six goals and provided two assists in nine appearances across all competitions since joining the Eredivisie side. Huntelaar described Arokodare as dangerous when used as a focal point in attack. Arokodare was recalled for Nigeria’s 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau but did not start or score in either September fixture. The 24-year-old will hope to carry his club form into his next Super Eagles opportunity.
