Ani, Olowu Set for Street Rumble 2 Boxing Clash in Ajegunle

Michael “Hitman” Ani will face two-time West African welterweight champion Taiwo “Gentle Boy” Olowu in the main event of Street Rumble 2 on 13 December 2026 at Maracana Square, Ajegunle, Lagos. The bout was initially scheduled for April 2025 but was postponed after Ani suffered an arm injury during training. He now returns seeking redemption against Olowu, whose experience includes two West African welterweight titles. Promoter Mike Adeyemo said the event will also feature an undercard to be announced. Former world heavyweight champion and 1988 Olympic gold medallist Ray Mercer is expected as a special ringside guest.
