Should My Brother Attend Customs Training Before Completing NYSC?

My brother is currently serving in Osun State. He studied Civil Engineering at a federal university and graduated with a Second Class Upper degree. Late last year, he applied for Nigeria Customs Service recruitment using his O’Level result. He was invited for an interview in Abuja and has now received a message to resume training in Kano State within a few days. He will complete NYSC next month, but we are worried that his degree may not be recognised by the agency because it was not presented during recruitment. Considering how difficult it is to get a job in Nigeria, should he attend the training or wait until he has completed service?
