Ita Enang Presents Credentials, Officially Begins Diplomatic Duty in Germany
Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, Ita Enang, has presented his Letters of Credence to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin. The ceremony formally marked the start of his diplomatic assignment in the country. The event included a military welcome parade and the signing of the accreditation register before the formal handover of credentials. Afterwards, both leaders held a bilateral meeting on ways to deepen Nigeria-Germany relations. They discussed cooperation in agriculture, food security, technology, education, industrial development and economic growth. Enang also urged greater German investment in Nigeria, especially in automobile assembly, saying it would support local manufacturing, job creation and technology transfer.
