Mikang Youths Rally Against 4th Term, Demand Fair Power Rotation
Members of the Mikang Youth Vanguard Coalition gathered in Mikang LGA to oppose any fourth term in office and call for systematic power rotation among its four districts. Comr. Daniel Dajen, President of the Tehl Youth Movement, stressed that the event was non-partisan. He urged unity and fairness, noting that extended stays by one district weaken democratic representation. Youth representatives from Tehl, Piapung, Koenoem, and Garkawa spoke in support of peaceful advocacy and condemned political monopoly. They highlighted the importance of zoning even for positions like the Speaker. The coalition thanked the state leadership for listening and vowed to sustain this campaign ahead of the next political season, insisting that rotation ensures inclusivity and shared development.
