Trump Says Recovering Iran’s Enriched Uranium Will Be Long, Difficult Process

Former US President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that “Operation Midnight Hammer” has obliterated Iran’s nuclear facilities, leaving only what he called “nuclear dust.” He warned that digging out and recovering enriched uranium from the site would be a long and difficult task. Trump also suggested the recovered uranium could eventually be transferred to the United States. Iranian officials have dismissed any such plan. His comments come amid persistent tensions between Washington and Tehran over Iran’s nuclear programme and uncertainty around ceasefire talks.
