APC Senatorial Primary: Adewoye Secures Kwara South Ticket with 65,256 Votes
Olalekan Adewoye has emerged winner of the APC senatorial primary in Kwara South, polling 65,256 votes in a competitive 11-man race. Results from all seven local government areas show his total more than doubled the combined votes of his two closest challengers. Faridah Dankaka finished second with 24,277 votes, while incumbent Senator Lola Ashiru trailed in third with 21,001. Nurudeen Adeyemi placed fourth with 13,654. Observers reported that voting across the district was peaceful and transparent.
