Abiding in the True Vine: Insights from John 15:1-17

Jesus presents himself as the true vine and God as the gardener. Branches that bear no fruit are cut away, while fruitful ones are pruned for greater growth. Believers must remain in Christ and keep his word to bear lasting fruit. Apart from him, we can do nothing, but through him we receive joy and purpose. Jesus calls his followers friends and commands them to love one another as he has loved them. He promises that whatever we ask in his name will be granted.
