Trans Nkisi G.R.A. Residents Mobilise for Soludo’s Drainage Cleanup to Curb Flooding

Residents of Trans Nkisi G.R.A., Onitsha, joined the Anambra State Government’s Clean Drainage Campaign in a show of support ahead of the rainy season. Led by Chief Onyebuchi Ndulue, community volunteers cleared blocked channels and removed waste to ensure free stormwater flow. Chief Ndulue emphasised that keeping drains clear is everyone’s duty. He urged neighbours to sustain regular sanitation efforts and stop practices that obstruct waterways or threaten public health. Community members commended Governor Soludo’s Operation Clean Drainages Exercise. They believe the joint effort will reduce erosion, safeguard lives and property, and drive Anambra State’s vision for a cleaner, safer environment.
