Nigeria Wins Hosting Rights for 2028 ECOWAS Youth and Sports Ministers’ Meeting

Nigeria has secured the hosting rights for the 2028 ECOWAS Meeting of Experts and Ministers responsible for Youth and Sports. The National Sports Commission said the decision was reached unanimously at the conclusion of the ECOWAS ministers’ meeting in Dakar, Senegal. Nigeria’s bid was presented by representatives of the commission. The meeting is expected to provide a platform for West African countries to discuss youth development, sports cooperation and regional integration.
