Ifitedunu Must Act Now to Tackle Youth Unemployment and Restiveness

I am concerned that many young people in Ifitedunu are being drawn into thuggery, violence and other harmful activities. Negative influences, limited access to vocational skills and a shortage of positive mentors are leaving too many youths without clear, productive opportunities. If this trend is ignored, frustration and unemployment could deepen insecurity and social unrest in the community. We must not allow today’s neglect to endanger the future of our young people. Community leaders, parents, government and youths must work together on skills-acquisition programmes, mentorship, value reorientation and lawful economic opportunities. The time for deliberate action in Ifitedunu is now.
