Marriage Should Not End Friendships or Girls’ Trips, Says Toni Tone
Media personality Toni Tone says marriage should add partnership to a person’s life, not take away their independence, friendships or personal experiences. She argued that married women should be free to travel with friends or spend time with family, as long as there is honesty, loyalty and trust in the relationship. According to her, enjoying a trip without one’s spouse does not automatically mean disloyalty. Toni added that couples can enjoy travelling together while still maintaining friendships, hobbies and interests outside their marriage. She said some people may prefer doing everything with their partners, but that choice should not be imposed on everyone.
