APC Supporters in Jos Stage Massive Protests Over Alleged Primary Fraud
A wave of protests and demonstrations has erupted across Jos as aggrieved APC members accuse party leaders of manipulating the outcome of recent primaries. Various groups claim internal democracy was undermined, citing violations of the Electoral Act and imposition of candidates ahead of the 2027 elections. In Bassa LGA, women and widows marched to demand the recognition of Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Incham, who they say legitimately won 15 of 16 wards. Adamu Aliyu’s mandate. Protests spread to Angwan Rukuba Junction as supporters of another aspirant demanded that every vote cast be counted.
