Ex-Eagles Defender Chikelue Iloenyosi Sweeps ANSFA Chairmanship Unopposed
General Chikelue Iloenyosi has been re-elected chairman of the Anambra State Football Association for a four-year term. He secured all 23 votes cast at the ANSFA elective congress, standing unopposed. Johnson Ifejika emerged as vice chairman with 19 votes, while three board members from each senatorial zone were also elected. The Nigeria Football Federation commended the peaceful conduct of the election and urged administrators to focus on football development in the state. In his acceptance speech, Iloenyosi thanked delegates for their confidence and pledged an inclusive administration. He promised to work closely with the state government and sports writers to keep football as the king of sports in Anambra.
