South-South Cancer Summit Set for Port Harcourt on November 26

The South-South Cancer Summit 2026 will hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on November 26. The meeting is part of the Nigeria National Cancer Control Plan 2026–2030. The summit will focus on cancer control in the Niger Delta, including environmental factors linked to cancer and barriers to multidisciplinary cancer care. It will also feature the launch of the Social Determinants of Health Fund. Health officials and cancer-control stakeholders from Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo and Delta states are expected to participate. Registration is required.
