Lookman Starts as Atlético Madrid Edge Espanyol 1-0

Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman started for Atlético Madrid in their 1-0 away win over Espanyol in La Liga. Lookman made his ninth appearance of the season and worked diligently on the flank before being substituted at half-time during a tactical adjustment. Atlético dominated possession and created 15 attempts, but Espanyol’s deep defensive setup kept them out until the closing stages. Álex Baena struck in the 89th minute after being set up by Julián Álvarez to secure the points. The victory keeps Atlético Madrid within touching distance of the top of the La Liga table.
