Lagos School Marks Girl Child Day With Campaign Against Child Marriage
Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy in Abule Egba, Lagos, marked the International Day of the Girl Child with an awareness programme on protecting, educating and empowering girls. The session focused on ending child marriage and investing in girls’ rights, education and personal development. Pupils were encouraged to build confidence, pursue their ambitions and recognise the contributions women make in society. The celebration also featured a spa session for the students, combining the advocacy message with relaxation and self-care activities.
