Falconets Coach Aduku Confident of Recovery After 2-0 Loss to Spain

Nigeria’s Falconets opened their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Spain in Group F. Marisa Garcia and Alba Cerrato scored a goal each to give the European champions the win. Head coach Moses Aduku admitted that his players fell short in the match but remains confident Nigeria can still reach the knockout stage. The Falconets will aim to respond when they face China PR in their next group match on Thursday, September 10.
