Springfield Private School Week Launches with Pyjamas Day and Cultural Festivities
Springfield Private School in Abule Egba, Lagos, has kicked off its annual Week of Learning with engaging activities that blend classroom lessons with hands-on experiences. The opening Pyjamas Day welcomed pupils in their favourite sleepwear for storytelling, educational games, relaxation sessions, and team challenges that build confidence and communication skills. Day two, themed Language and Culture, featured learners showcasing Nigeria’s diverse heritage in colourful traditional attire. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to multilingual education, offering four international languages alongside Yoruba to prepare pupils for global and local communication. School leaders emphasise that education goes beyond textbooks. With support from dedicated staff, the programme aims to nurture confident, responsible, and solution-driven children who uphold integrity and contribute positively to society. More interactive sessions are scheduled throughout the week to develop pupils academically, socially, emotionally, and morally.
