Anambra Pilgrims Board Seeks SASA Support for 2026 Holy Land Pilgrimage
The Anambra State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has asked ministries, departments and agencies to support eligible residents who want to join the 2026 Christian pilgrimage to the Holy Land. During a visit to the Managing Director of the Anambra State Special Anti-Touting Squad, the board’s Executive Secretary, Odira Ezeh, said registration and sale of pilgrimage forms were ongoing. Airlifting is expected to begin in the first week of November and end in the last week of December. Ezeh urged SASA to help publicise the programme and identify Christians who need financial support. He also announced plans for an Anambra Christian Pilgrims Summit and a proposed pilgrimage lottery scheme aimed at expanding access to the programme. The SASA management pledged support, saying the pilgrimage initiative could promote moral values, spiritual growth and social order in the state.
