What God Expects from Nations That Desire Greatness
God cares about every nation—Israel, Iran, Nigeria and beyond. To become great, each country must fulfill responsibilities outlined in Scripture. First, uphold truth. Systems built on honesty free citizens from corruption. A merit-based society ensures only qualified individuals serve in key roles. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). Second, practice fairness. Leaders should judge everyone equally—rich or poor, educated or illiterate. “Show no partiality in your decisions” (Deuteronomy 1:17). Third, enforce peace by upholding the law. True peace comes when laws are applied sincerely. “Great peace have they who love your law” (Psalm 119:165). Failure to meet these divine standards renders efforts toward greatness futile. Finally, to connect with Jesus: acknowledge Him as “the way, the truth, and the life” and invite Him as Lord and Savior (John 14:6).
