Davido Becomes First African Artist to Receive Mercedes-Maybach SL 680
Nigerian superstar Davido has officially taken delivery of his Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 in Lagos. In videos shared online, the singer and his team were seen offloading the $224,900 convertible at his home. He is reportedly among the first Africans—and possibly the first African artist—to own this exclusive model. Last year, Davido also added a custom Lamborghini Revuelto worth $600,000 and a Tesla Cybertruck to his luxury car collection. Beyond vehicles, the artist has gifted his aide a Range Rover Vogue LWB and surprised his partner with an AMG G63 for her birthday. He’s also splashed out on a custom album-themed pendant, high-end properties, a Richard Mille wristwatch, and a Bombardier private jet valued at over $70 million.
