Scott Nnaji Named ABU Head Coach and Tasked with Launching Basketball Academy

Ahmadu Bello University has appointed veteran coach Scott Nnaji as head coach of its men’s basketball team. He will also oversee the launch of a new ABU Basketball Academy as general manager. Nnaji brings extensive experience as president of the Basketball Coaches Association of Nigeria and technical board member of the Nigeria Basketball Federation. He has led national youth and women’s teams and coached top domestic clubs. An alumnus of ABU, Nnaji is expected to strengthen the university’s basketball legacy with fresh strategies and build the academy into a platform that nurtures talent and creates new opportunities for young Nigerians.
