Chad and Congo-Brazzaville to Grant Nigerians Visa-Free Entry From 2027

Nigerian passport holders may enter Chad and the Republic of the Congo without a visa from January 1, 2027, under new policies announced by both countries. Chad says it will abolish entry visas for citizens of African countries as part of efforts to support free movement, trade and regional integration. The Republic of the Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville, has announced a similar policy, subject to basic administrative and security requirements.
