Arokodare Targets Goals and Trophies After Assisting on Ajax Debut
Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare says his priority at Ajax is to score goals and help the Dutch club win trophies. The Nigerian made his competitive debut as a substitute in Ajax’s 2-0 win over PEC Zwolle, providing an assist after coming on in the 73rd minute. Arokodare said he is willing to play any role assigned by the coach, whether as a starter or from the bench. He added that technical director Jordi Cruijff’s plans for rebuilding Ajax helped convince him to join the club.
