2026/27 Nigeria National League Season Kicks Off October 31
The 2026/27 Nigeria National League season will begin on Saturday, October 31, following approval at the league’s Annual General Meeting in Owerri. Participating clubs will compete across four divisions: Southern Conference A, Southern Conference B, Northern Conference A and Northern Conference B. The winner of each conference will gain automatic promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League. The four promoted teams will also contest a mini-tournament to decide the overall NNL champion. Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, Doma United and Ranchers Bees earned promotion to the NPFL in the previous season. Fixtures and other arrangements are expected to be released to clubs before the new campaign begins.
