Four Eiye Supremo Cult Suspects Nabbed in Ibadan Hideout, Pistol Recovered

Operatives of the Oyo State Police Command arrested four suspected armed robbers linked to the Eiye Supremo confraternity at their Soka hideout in Ibadan. The suspects—Salawu Sarafa (Folori), Yusuf Tajudeen (Blacky), Farouq Ariyo and Adebayo Awosemo (Naira)—were seized on June 10 after police acted on credible intelligence about an impending attack. A locally made pistol was recovered during the operation. In preliminary interrogation, the suspects confessed to involvement in a series of violent crimes across the Ibadan metropolis and its environs. The command says investigations are ongoing to uncover the full scope of the gang’s activities and to identify other accomplices. The Oyo State Police Command urges residents to continue sharing credible information to aid crime prevention. It assures the public that all suspects found culpable will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
