Lady Marries University Friend She Once Rejected

A Nigerian woman has shared how a university friend whose advances she once turned down eventually became her husband. She said they stayed close friends throughout school, even while she dated other people. He remained the person she trusted most and could always talk to. During the 2020 lockdown, she realised her feelings had changed. She told him they could no longer remain friends if they were not willing to date. Despite his initial hesitation over the earlier rejections, they eventually began a relationship and later got married.
