Nigeria’s Rafiu Durosinmi Seals Four-Year Move to KRC Genk
Rafiu Durosinmi has completed a permanent transfer from Pisa to Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk, signing a four-year contract. The 23-year-old striker impressed in the Czech First Division with Viktoria Plzen, netting 35 goals and providing 10 assists in 86 appearances. He becomes Genk’s second summer signing. Durosinmi revealed that former Genk front-man Paul Onuachu encouraged the switch, praising the club’s support and playing style. Genk’s Head of Football, Dimitri de Condé, says Durosinmi’s physical presence and combination play make him the ideal number 9 for their title ambitions.
