Victor Orakpo Joins Gençlerbirliği on Loan From Nice
Nigerian forward Victor Orakpo has joined Turkish Süper Lig club Gençlerbirliği on loan from French side OGC Nice until the end of the season. The 20-year-old striker began his development at FC Bako and VOE Football Academy before joining Nice in January 2024. He made his senior debut for the Ligue 1 club in August 2024 and later extended his contract until 2028. Orakpo spent time on loan at Ligue 2 side Nancy earlier in 2026. He will now look to earn regular minutes and make an impact in Turkey with Gençlerbirliği.
