Designing Your Future: Veteran Broadcaster Eugenia Abu’s Career Masterclass at FU Lokoja
A renowned broadcaster and former NTA Director of Programs, Mrs Eugenia Abu, delivered a powerful lecture at the Federal University, Lokoja. Speaking to staff, students and community members, she urged young people to build successful careers through discipline, integrity and continuous learning. Titled “From Campus To Career: Designing The Future You Want,” Mrs Abu challenged students to avoid pride, drug abuse, cultism and other social vices. She emphasised the importance of time management, respect for authority and focused study over distractions like social media. Drawing on her own journey, Mrs Abu encouraged courage and intentional action in identifying new challenges and opportunities. The Vice-Chancellor praised her decades-long media career as a model of talent, purpose and hard work.
