Army Captures Alleged Boko Haram Logistics Supplier in Borno State
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a suspected Boko Haram logistics supplier in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State. The arrest followed credible intelligence on a suspect moving items meant for terrorists. At about 6:00 p.m. on March 25, troops from the 233 Tank Battalion, alongside the Yobe State Hunters Group, intercepted 23-year-old Modu Sharif near Kadau village on the Damaturu–Goniri axis. They recovered numerous motorcycle spare parts, including brake liners, carburetors, springs, spark plugs, a crankshaft, oil seals, cable wires and clutch handles. During preliminary questioning, the suspect admitted he was sent by Boko Haram elements to deliver the items. He remains in custody as security forces pursue other collaborators and work to dismantle the terrorist logistics network.
