NDDC Officials Bag Global Awards in London for Governance and Development
Officials of the Niger Delta Development Commission were honoured at the Palace of Westminster for their work in governance, accountability and regional growth. The delegation included MD Samuel Ogbuku (represented by his Chief of Staff at the ceremony), Executive Director Boma Iyaye and Director of Finance Kunemofa Asu. They received awards such as “Strategic and Transformational Leadership,” with organisers praising their integrity and impact. After the event, Ogbuku said the recognition shows both domestic and international appreciation for NDDC’s reforms. He added that the awards will motivate further efforts in infrastructure and human capital development. Martina Macpherson, President of the organising institute, commended the commission’s commitment to solving development challenges. She noted that real progress involves building strong institutions, restoring hope and creating a better future for the Niger Delta.
