Tinubu Appoints Yakubu Jang, Son of Former Plateau Governor, as SSA

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Yakubu Jang, son of former Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang, as a Senior Special Assistant in the Office of the President. Vice President Kashim Shettima announced the appointment on the President’s behalf during Jonah Jang’s 80th birthday celebration and autobiography launch in Jos, Plateau State. Shettima said the appointment reflected the administration’s recognition of capacity, loyalty and the need for diverse voices in governance. The event was attended by former President Goodluck Jonathan, governors, government officials, traditional rulers and other guests.
