Residents of Kuje Amuwo in Lagos gathered on July 30, 2026, for the coronation of His Royal Majesty Yusuf Olatunji Akiolu as the new Alamuwo of Kuje Amuwo. The ceremony featured Awori traditional music, dance and prayers, with traditional rulers, government representatives, community leaders and guests in attendance. The new monarch pledged to serve with fairness and integrity and to work with elders, youths and government authorities to promote peace, cultural preservation and development in the community.
