Bruno Guimarães says Declan Rice was among the first Arsenal players to welcome him after his reported £75 million move from Newcastle. The Brazilian midfielder said Rice jokingly asked for a truce after their previous battles on the pitch. Guimarães said he is excited to play alongside Rice in what he believes is one of Europe’s strongest midfields. He will also reunite with Brazilian teammates Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus. Guimarães said he joined Arsenal for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to win trophies after making 153 Premier League appearances for Newcastle.
