Open Heavens Devotional – The Burden Bearer (April 3, 2026)

Theme: The Burden Bearer Memory Verse: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) In Isaiah 53:4–5 we learn that Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Burdens are difficult situations we cannot remove on our own. The widow of Zarephath suffered famine by no fault of her own. Naaman was wealthy yet stricken with leprosy. Sin also crushes those under its weight. Jesus alone can remove every yoke. He invites you to cast impossible problems, long-standing struggles, and the burden of sin on Him. When you surrender your life to Christ, He gives rest and a new beginning. Action Point: Come to Jesus today. Lay down every burden and receive His healing and peace.
