Super Eagles Slump to 3-0 Defeat Against Guinea-Bissau in AFCON Qualifier

The Super Eagles suffered a disappointing 3-0 loss to Guinea-Bissau in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match. Franculino opened the scoring in the 15th minute after a pass from Renato Nhaga, leaving Nigeria behind at half-time. Nigeria made several changes after the break, bringing on Moses Usor and Moses Simon as they searched for an equaliser. However, Guinea-Bissau extended their lead in the 66th minute through Mama Baldé, who was set up by Manadi Camara. Alvaro Djalo added a third goal in stoppage time to complete a difficult night for Nigeria. The Super Eagles failed to score and will need to respond strongly in their remaining qualifying matches.
