United Capital Reports ₦24.78bn Pre-Tax Profit for H1 2026

United Capital Plc reported a pre-tax profit of ₦24.78 billion for the first half of 2026, representing an 80% increase from the same period last year. The financial services group attributed its performance to growth across its investment banking operations, wealth management, consumer lending and securities trading businesses. Its expansion into digital retail services and other African markets also helped broaden its client base and strengthen fee income amid economic volatility.
