My Husband Seems Unusually Familiar With Prostitution Areas—Should I Be Worried?
I need honest advice because I do not know whether I am overthinking or ignoring genuine red flags. Over the years, I have become concerned that my husband may be seeing sex workers. I have no direct proof, but the pattern of his comments and behaviour makes me uncomfortable. He talks frequently about sex workers, their lives and the men who visit them. He watches dramas about them and often tells stories about colleagues, neighbours and relatives who supposedly sleep with them. He also seems very familiar with areas known for prostitution and has repeatedly pointed them out while we are driving. Some comments have made me more suspicious. He once said he had tried a herbal sexual-performance drink, even though he had not used it with me. He also asked a bartender about a sex worker who used to visit a bar he frequented, saying he had noticed she no longer came around. The incident that upset me most was when he stayed out late while selling our car to a buyer. He said the buyer wanted to wait overnight for a bank transfer to reflect, but they were in an area known for prostitution. He eventually came home after I questioned the arrangement. Am I connecting unrelated incidents, or would you also find this pattern concerning?
