Over 200 Residents Benefit From NYSC Rural Health Outreach in Osun

More than 200 residents of Akinlalu and nearby communities in Ife North LGA, Osun State, received free medical services during the NYSC Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers. The outreach offered consultations, health screenings, laboratory tests, medicines and health education. Residents were also advised on nutrition, exercise, hygiene, hypertension, mental health and the risks of self-medication. The programme was sponsored by the Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly and held at Akinlalu Secondary Commercial College. NYSC officials said the initiative is part of efforts to improve access to basic healthcare in rural communities.
