Leave Vengeance to God: Lessons From David, Nabal and Ananias

David was close to taking revenge on Nabal after being insulted, but Abigail’s wise intervention stopped him. Her actions spared David from shedding blood and leaving a stain on his conscience. Later, God judged Nabal, showing that vengeance does not belong to man. Ananias and Sapphira also suffered the consequences of deceit when they pretended to give everything while secretly withholding part of the money. Their story reminded the early church of the seriousness of dishonesty before God. Every difficult situation carries a lesson. Rather than seeking revenge, believers should leave judgment to God. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and His justice comes at the proper time.
