Hiring: Import Officer for Manufacturing/FMCG

We are looking for a detail-oriented Import Officer to oversee all import activities within our FMCG manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end import processes from purchase order to delivery • Prepare and coordinate documentation (Form M, PAAR, Bill of Lading, SONCAP, etc.) • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and regulatory bodies • Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies • Ensure compliance with Nigerian Customs regulations and international trade requirements Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field • 5–10 years’ experience in import operations, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, freight management, and regulatory compliance • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills How to Apply Send your CV and cover letter to the HR team at Valency Africa with the subject “Application for Import Officer”.
