Experience Mighty Works: Open Heavens Devotional for July 12, 2026

Date: Sunday, July 12, 2026 Theme: Mighty Works Memorise: “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 Read: Mark 6:1-6 Jesus could do only a few miracles in Nazareth because of the people’s unbelief. Doubt hinders God’s power in our lives. When we believe, we become vessels for His mighty works—and may even do greater things (John 14:12). God commissioned His followers to cast out demons, speak in new tongues, and heal the sick by faith (Mark 16:15-18). All that is required is belief. Let His Word grow your faith (Romans 10:17) and guard against anything that weakens it. Prayer: Ask God to show His mighty power in and through you, strengthen your faith, and equip you for greater works. Bible in One Year: Ecclesiastes 9-12

Focusing solely on doubt oversimplifies why some people might still struggle despite strong faith.

Maybe we can start each day by confessing belief aloud before our personal devotions, to strengthen faith against doubt.
